The College of Economics and Management is specialized in two major disciplines, namely, management and economics, with undergraduate majors in accounting, marketing, financial management, and financial engineering, etc. It has completed the declaration of the authorization point for the master’s degree in accounting and submitted it to the Ministry of Education for approval. At present, the college has five research institutes, including the Institute of Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education and the Institute of Regional Economy.

The college established the Seentao Innovation and Entrepreneurship College with Seentao Technology Co., Ltd and signed school-enterprise cooperation agreements with a number of enterprises, including Golden Education Group, Seeyon Company and BEKE Real Estate. It has built the “new business studies” digital intelligence experiment center and completed the construction of immersion laboratories to provide good conditions for teaching, scientific research and innovation & entrepreneurship of the college.

The college takes the characteristic “new business studies” applied talent cultivation as its core, integrates new technologies such as artificial intelligence, big data and blockchain into the professional construction, and builds a cross-integration composite applied talent cultivation system with civil engineering, surveying and mapping, transportation and other disciplines of the college.
